“I normally try and be fair about reviews but this hotel was awful. The elevator didn’t work so we had to carry our luggage up to 3rd floor. The room was dirty and didn’t seem to have been cleaned very well. The shower tub was peeling and had a disgusting rubber mat over it to hide the peeling. The sink and toilet area was dirty and dated. The AC for the room worked poorly so we were hot or cold all night. It was truly a disgusting experience!”

“This hotel used to be a Red Roof Inn and is going through renovations, so it currently has a lot of construction. We were here for the George Strait concert, so I didn't mind the elevated price. I don't know how much an overnight stay usually costs. It is an older hotel, but it was clean and adequate for our needs.”

“Room was impressively clean but the road noise was equally impressive. Wow. Most disappointing was when hotel clerk broke the cardinal rule of announcing our room number out loud to the other person in the small check-in area. Then when we reached the room, the security locking feature on the door did not work. Unacceptable. She did agree to move us to another room. There is absolutely nothing around this place and if you don’t have transportation ordering pizza seems to be the only option. ”

“Highly recommend this cute bed and breakfast!! The hosts made us feel like family. The home was super clean, very cozy, relaxing, and the breakfast was outstanding! We wish would could find more places like this on our travels. If we ever come thru Lubbock again, we will definitely go back! ”

“Parking easy. Room below average in condition. Not necessarily dirty but a hole in the bathroom door. Just general state of maintenance was below average. ”

“Stayed on first floor. Second floor guest might as well be in the room with you, as even light steps echoed through the room. Bathroom fan either didn’t work or wasn’t even present, was like a sauna after a short shower. The smoke alarm has an obnoxiously bright light that flashes randomly. We’ll stick with Holiday Inn Express”

“I found a cockroach on the ground in the bedroom so I started looking around the property and found lots more, especially under the bed. I have a baby that is crawling and learning to walk, so I was extremely concerned about this. Management told me that they spray weekly because they have an abandoned building behind their property… which was another concern. I was also informed that they do not have a way to clean under the beds. When I put my son back in his car seat, he has a little……

“Very worn and run down property right on busy highway. Many things broken such as tiles, shower curtain rod, windows (incl my hotel bedroom window). Around midnight an employee knocked on my door to see if that room was occupied. So much for peaceful sleep. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly but hotel needs major repairs and updates.”

“The stay went well overall except for the front desk lady working the early shift, very rude. We requested an extended check out and it seemed to upset her for some reason. Was really rude to my son that tried to talk to her. She also followed us outside as an intimidating tactic because we were arranging our bags into the car. Came outside with her phone and just kept looking at us like she was filming, taking pictures.”
