“The breakfast staff was unkempt. Not very professional standard of dress. The bed itself was uncomfortable. This was not up to the Hilton standard and not value for money.”

“The hotel was okay, I have 3 major complaints. First and most significantly is the price gouging. Our rate for Tuesday was $94, but jumped to $339 for Friday night for the same room due to Tech graduation. This is a Ridiculous ripoff!!! Second, the hotel has NO ice machine. Ice is ONLY available via the ice maker in the fridge. It was empty when we entered the room, and it took 5 hours for the first batch of 10 cubes to drop. Thus we had to buy ice in order to have ice. “We have stayed her often- however this time we received a suprise fee for self parking. I looked on Expedia website ( site we booked) and it says free parking. Hilton website does say there is a nightly fee for parking. FYI- other Hilton properties in Lubbock have free parking. Maybe I’m cheap but I really don’t want to have to pay for parking at a hotel in Lubbock so we will be going elsewhere next time we go to Lubbock.”

“Stayed 1 night and I would definitely stay here again. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by friendly and efficient hotel staff. There were no issues with our room as it was ready when we arrived and exceptionally clean. Hotel has a nice sports bar/cafe and is also used for breakfast. Our rate included breakfast buffet which was not only convenient but included a variety of options.”

Bathroom wasn't cleaned - dirty towels from prior guests and hairs all over the sink. Room stank of stale cigs and bad deodorizer. Loud party started at 2AM next door - finally insisted on a new room. The AC in the new room clanked like it was falling off the wall - finally turned it off. Roaches crawling in bathroom and kitchen. And again, someone else's……

“The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. Staff were pleasant and attentive. The price was right. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of choices. Coffee was hot. Plenty of parking.”
