Jim Butler use to be a great place to stay. It’s not anymore! The place is run down, and the staff at check in is less than impressive! I called ahead as I would be making a later arrival to verify someone would be there. The lady who answered the phone spoke as if I was wasting her time. Then at check in she was completely unpleasant. I had a less than impressive stop the time before but thought I’d give the place one more chance. Never again will I stay at the Jim Butler.

Room was old and dated but clean. The shower head was really low and the bathroom door stuck when opening and closing. Only one garage can, located in the bathroom. Did not clean room, make bed or takeout trash when staying multiple nights. Female at the front desk is not friendly and they charge an extra 3% if you use a credit card.

The Jim Butler is a bargain hotel at a not-so-bargain price. We had expected to have breakfast there, because the listing said it was included. The listing even included a photo of the breakfast area! When we got there, there was a sign that said "No Breakfast." We felt this was a bait and switch, because we'd considered the value of the breakfast in our decision to pay extra for the room. We left the hotel the next morning HUNGRY!
