“Great communication. Room was spotless and warm for my arrival. Oat milk provided, so I could enjoy a cup of tea! Lovely bathroom, bed is super comfortable and I slept really well. Quiet location only a 15 minute walk from the centre of Totnes. Would definitely stay ahain on a future visit.”

“The staff were excellent hosts and assisted us with in person enquiries but a couple of emails i sent prior to check in went unanswered. Yes, room 12 we stayed in was rather noisey ( even at night )being on the main road side but earplugs were provided. I don't know what the other rooms are like. I did manage to fall asleep till about 4.30am. The floors boards in the room and just outside in the corridor creaked and felt unstable when walked on. The bathroom was a little on the small side but……

“A good place to stay. Hotel nicely decorated for christmas and convenient for pier, beach and high street. The room and shower room was clean and beds comfortable. Staff was helpful and cooked breakfast was tasty.breakfast ”

“The breakfast was made of decent quality ingredients, it tasted delicious! James, Christine & Co are lovely, super friendly and want to make your stay as enjoyable as possible! The pictures don't do the place justice. It is a relaxed atmosphere with a self-service bar with available snacks. The Paignton Pier with arcades, shops & other dining options is 10 minutes walk on the flat. James & Christine have lots of amazjng options to help cater your stay to you. ”

“I liked the hotel. Very clean room, and great location. Only disappointment was unable to get an evening meal after 6.30pm in the restaurant because of a large function that evening. ”

“Big mention to Jane and Ollie who were so welcoming and friendly. Food was excellent. Room was quirky and lovely and quiet. Very peaceful. Very clean in rooms and in the pub itself. Lovely little town with lots of things to do in the area.”

“Check in was a nightmare...one member of staff to multiple people waiting in a line.....dust around tv and no bag in bins or properly clean rooms.no info about ev charging and more annoying was car park was full yet when i popped out just for 5mins my spot was taken...parking should be allocated per room”

“We stayed for one night only and the reception was friendly. We bought a plug-in air freshener as the room smelt funky. The single bed was uncomfortable. Very noisy at night due to karaoke - but this was the summer in Paignton so I guess it’s normal. Hotel is near the main strip so very convenient. ”
