“The owner's wife checked us in and we were told that we owed a certain amount of money before we could check in. When I asked again how much we owed she said she didn't know because she couldn't see that as we booked through a third party. She also told us that they keep a copy of our credit card just in case " you were to steal my hair dryer or my pillow cases, or my coffee pot". Never had this experience there before, but I don't think I will be staying there again.”

“Walkable to Anakeesta so you avoid the $20 parking. I went to Anakeesta when it opened to do the mountain coasters and zipline. Then down the mountain for a break at the inn in the afternoon. Back to Anakeesta for the Astra Lumina in the evening. The room was clean. The balcony with the creek below was great.”

“The office closes early. I arrived around 8 pm and had to call to check in. The process was easy once I reached the person but I didn't receive instructions in my email. I liked the three pools and the grounds were nice. Centrally located in Townsend, with approximately 20-30 minute drives to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge.”

“Clean and maintained well. Pool was small but the slide was nice. Breakfast was minimal and insufficient seating. Breakfast needed more staff to assist to keep up with volume of guests.”

“This was a charming lodge! On the quieter part of downtown Gatlinburg, we appreciated getting out of the hustle and bustle. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and we enjoyed the experience of seeing a bear meander through the stream behind the lodge (happily viewing from the 3rd floor) from our little balcony. Check-in and check-out simple and straightforward, it was the perfect ending to our trip through the mountains.”
