“Had a trip planned for the kids to enjoy their start of summer. Half their indoor and outdoor waterpark is shut off or inaccessible due to remodel. The staff at the front desk were rude when mentioned the closures they insisted that’s the roof project is plastered all over their website, ( I booked on my phone and the mobile version did not indicate waterpark closures nor did they mention anything when I called the day before about limited waterpark usage) they were offering all Soaky Mountain……

“We didn’t like that the breakfast wasn’t free, we had to pay for the breakfast while booking or you can at the hotel each day. The tv in one of our rooms was having technical difficulties. There’s no clocks in the rooms. & the floors aren’t carpeted, it’s hard floors & they were very dirty. My daughter’s socks were black on the bottom. But all that aside; the staff was amazing, we did purchase the breakfast & it was delicious. We got $5 off per ticket when we purchased Dollywood tickets through……

“Great property. Only complaint is the daily housekeeping service. The 1st morning the guy came in before we finished getting ready to change out the towels. The rest of the trip we did not have housekeeping service. We had to go to the front desk and ask for towels, Kleenex and toilet paper every evening.”

“From the outside the property looks a little ran down. Ducks were swimming in the pool and geese were running around everywhere. Goose poop was everywhere in the parking lot. But.....the rooms were super clean. Air was working as it should. Showers were hot. The beds were super comfortable. The property was quiet. The staff was friendly. We would definitely stay here again, we just wouldn't swim in the pool. Wild animals isn't really any fault of the hotel's staff, but worth mentioning for……
