Arthouse Hotel New York City

4.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (1508)
"The lobby area was welcoming and decorated nicely. Our room was spacious and had a great private balcony. We enjoyed the
breakfast
pastry and coffee. The only negative was the amount of time it took to check in when we arrived at a non peak time. We also had a visit from housekeeping an hour before checkout which made us feel rushed to leave. I would recommend this location. "

Empire Hotel

4.0 star property
7.6 out of 10, Good, (5717)
"The Empire Hotel is in a great location. It has a restaurant to the right and a gelato shop to the left of the entrance. Both were very good. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was awesome. The lobby was fantastic and you get complimentary bottled water at the front desk whenever you want. That was definitely a plus for me since I drink a lot of water. I would definitely stay here again."

The Lucerne Hotel

4.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (2137)
"We were at the Lucerne for a hospital procedure at nearby Mt Sinai Morningside Hospital. The staff was very accommodating and helpful and ensured we had a quiet room tucked away in a corner. The room and bathroom was spotless. The hotel has an "old world charm" that is very distinctive and pleasant. The beds were very comfortable too. The bathroom isn't ultra modern, but the fact that it was spotless made up for that! We loved the countless restaurant options just around the corner from the...

"Honestly not at all sure what everyone is talking about in the reviews. This place is great. We had a visit in June 2025 and I have very few complaints. I will absolutely be staying here next time I visit!! The good: Location location location, 5 minute walk to tons of
restaurants
and the subway entrance. Quiet, residential, safe. Room was clean, staff was helpful, free
breakfast
in NYC is hard to beat (though we hit up a ton of
breakfast
spots close to the hotel so we barely needed to enjoy...
