Visiting a medical facility might not be the norm, but a glimpse into the workings of Vail Valley Medical Center is worth the time. If you're interested in the health industry, check to see if there's a tour or open day scheduled.
You'll be spoiled for sightseeing choice in Lionshead. Vail Valley Medical Center is a good place to kick off here, but there are lots of other interesting places to appreciate. Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater, Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, and Eagle Bahn Gondola are near the health care institution and will top off your day nicely.
