“Totally amazing place that has surprises abounding. They have knocked themselves out to make this historic place a modern comfort - Japanese toilets, heated floors, motion sensor lighting in bathrooms, Duxiana beds, interesting antiques and lovely furnishings. The breakfast was delicious in a charming room. We enjoyed the location in a quiet neighborhood, e-bikes for use, and easy walk to a big park, a short drive into Victoria.”

“The hotel is very nice. We stayed in a heritage Victorian-style house, and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. We left our luggage in the car and checked in first. The staff then showed us where to park, which was very convenient and close by. However, the hotel may not be accessible for guests using wheelchairs or carrying heavy luggage, as there are around 10 stairs at the entrance.”

“The worst hotel I had ever been! What we saw after enter the room was all the windows were opened without insect screen mesh so our room was full of flys, big bugs and their dead bodies. We reported it to the front desk immediately and proposed to switch another room. He suggested to refresh the room again as the hotel was fully booked. After around 30 minutes, we accessed to the room again. There were some small flys but we thought it was acceptable as we have no choice. However at 9:30pm,……

“The room is clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The location is great. A lot of restaurants and scenic spots are within walking distance.”

“Room is rather spacious for 2 people. The bathroom is clean. The shower can be stronger Flow but temperature easily adjustable. Breakfast has only one meat option - sausage or meatballs on each day I was there. Another protein option is egg. Good self-service waffle machine. Location is excellent - close to the inner harbour and legislative assembly.”

“The bath area was very large with a big tub. The toilet was too low to the floor The key code system made it very easy to come and go. The stop for the bus into town was a very short walk from the lodging, and the ride took about 5 minutes. The associated restaurant and pub was fine, with a lovely location by the water.”
