“My wife and I wanted a simple “Crash pad” that wasn’t real expensive and didn’t offer a bunch of amenities like pool, exercise room and free breakfast. The Chalet is a rather retro “Roadside motel” and it suited what we were looking for perfectly. The buildings are pretty old, but they are well preserved. Everything worked well… the AC, TV, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, plumbing all worked! The ice machine was a bit of a dinosaur, but it made plenty of ice… The bed was comfy, the maid……

“We were in town for a wedding. The check in process had a few hiccups, but the owner was so sweet and helped us. We could tell they're working on renovations, and the room was very nice and included a full fridge/freezer and microwave (very convenient for storing diabetic supplies).
