“The hotel was clean and quiet, which is a big plus for me. The issues we had dealt with staff and communication. When we checked in we asked if late check-out was avalable. We were told yes, we could stay until noon, so I confirmed with the front desk attendant that we wanted late check-out and would leave by noon. Just after 11am a staff member was knocking on our door asking why we hadn't checked out. I told them we had confirmed late check-out. Not 10 minutes later another staff member……

“Check in was satisfactory. There’s a $50 deposit even when you pay at booking. The location is great right off 28th Street which is the main road through Grand Rapids. There’s no carpet on the floors in the rooms which is a requirement for me. I’d recommend removing the fabric office chair and sofa and replacing with leather type cover. The room was mostly clean. It was refreshed vs fully cleaned the other days. Staff were friendly and attentive. Continental breakfast provided with addition of……

“There were two TV’s neither worked, power went out several times during my stay!! Arrived on Saturday evening wasn’t able to get into another room until late afternoon the next day Sunday. Excuse was no maintenance on sight!! Hotel was booked so I couldn’t be moved into a more suitable room until Sunday. checked out Monday morning. So not a good experience”

“Quiet area. Bring your own towel if you don’t like rough bath towels. It’s obvious this hotel was once a higher end hotel. It’s still well kept and very clean but lacks food service of any kind. Probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at.”

“Easy location to travel on/off expressway. Clean. Friendly staff. Great selection of snacks and gym equipment. Love the bottle filler and coffee/tea station 24 hours. ”
