“We were in one of the refurbished rooms which was vey clean, however there is obviously still some additions that are required in the main areas that look very drab and neglected. The heating in the bedroom was good but the en-suite bathroom had no heating at all and was so cold you didn't want to shower in there, the addition of some form of heating is needed here .A bin in the bathroom and some sort of shelf to put your own bits and pieces on would be useful.A mirror in the bedroom would be……

“Overall it's good. The service is excellent, and the room is cosy. But there was only one drawback which we met a private party. Therefore, the spa, Sunna cannot used as much as we can.”

“Absolutely stunning property for those who like a bit of history. Host was so accommodating to our needs. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and we felt so relaxed making the most of the roll top bath. Breakfast was top drawer (loved the sausages especially). Nothing to fault. The breakfast was hot, as I like it,and very tasty and plentiful. If you wish to have fresh filtered coffee, just ask, at no extra cost. Chad's partner was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you for a lovely and enjoyable stay. ”

“Staff were absolutely incredible. Dianna on reception was courteous, polite and ever so helpful. Thank you for making me feel like home during my stay. Dianna and her amazing team even helped out by washing and drying some clothing. Mid way through my work trip it was as a relief to know I had clean business and personal clothing. The young bar staff were also very kind and welcoming. ”
