“We were in town for the Woodward Dream Cruise and this was an excellent location within walking distance of Woodward Ave and why we chose it. The apartment was ok. Older building, window AC units. This place could be really nice with a couple upgrades. Better furniture, replace the pillows, more linens, another towel rack in the bathroom working lamps and some maintenance repairs. I saw the broken blinds and bathroom door off the hinges in previous reviews from months ago. I thought for sure……

“I had a great time staying here. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was amazing and they even let me use one of their conference rooms for a call after I had already checked out.”

“Royal oaks was a great little town and this motel was a new experience for me. The lounges and outdoor areas we wonderful and the staff was helpful. It was hard for me to get the old motel feel out of it but they really did a good job. I wish they would put a table and lamp on both sides of the bed and have more choices at breakfast.”
