"Fabulous hotel. Beautifully decorated. Feels like i time traveled back to the 40s having a business/romantic weekend with my husband. Just such a classy place all around - from the service to the decor to the amazing food at the restaurant. Will definitely return."
"Cleanest place ever! We always use cleaning wipes to clean the room and this time NO DIRT came up! Super clean and friendly staff too! Worth the money spent."
"Small motel, small rooms but LOCATION near beach and restaurants etc makes the place great for the price. Room was super clean and well stocked, bed comfy, urban area be prepared for common noises. It wasnt too loud. Staff super friendly, water and coffee free. Parking is tight. Pay $38 for space at motel, wait for $17 space next door, pay the meters for 3hrs ata time. "
"The Fairmont Miramar is a fantastic place to stay with a beautiful oceanfront location that really adds to the experience. It’s just minutes from the Santa Monica Pier, which makes it great for exploring the area. The service at the pool is excellent, with friendly and helpful staff who make you feel welcome. One of the highlights of our stay was breakfast at Fig Restaurant inside the hotel. The food was always fresh and tasty, and it quickly became our favorite morning spot. Highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay."

"The ambiance in the room was amazing. The amenities were great. Room service was great too. I just wished that the remote worked better. Otherwise, I would love to return"
"I stayed here for 7 nights last month with my husband and my teenage son and we loved it. Most of the few “negative” reviews seemed to be written by people who just didn’t like Venice, which isn’t the fault of this lovely hotel. The rooftop is a fantastic feature and you are right in the middle of the fabulous chaos of Venice. Danielle, like many have pointed out, is an angel of a hostess. "
"3 blocks away from SM Pier. Safe/secure building. Excellent breakfast. Indoor pool. Valet parking was 100% worth it. Be nice and tip the kid who brings you your car!"
"Great location near a lot of local spots and the beach. Having some beach supplies on hand such as towels and ice was a great value add! Major old school motel vibes and very clean but not the most comfortable bed out there. Friendly staff!"

"Absolute gem of a hotel, and decently priced.
Upsides:
-amazing location (right on Venice beach)
-clean room and halls
-good curtains for my fellow late sleepers
-very helpful staff (they actually have an overnight desk person, which is more than I can say for many other hotels in the area)
Downsides:
-they do charge $55 for valet, so if you bring a car, be ready for that.
-the roof is a little underwhelming, as it lacks an Oceanside view. "
"This is a no frills old school style hotel. You have to share a bathroom and shower with whatever floor you're on and it's a two-story hotel. There are separate showers and restroom accommodations for each men and women on each floor. The rooms do not have air conditioning but they do have a very nice fan and some rooms have a sink. Wi-Fi is free and decent and cable television have lots and lots of channels. The room I was in faced the parking lot so I was able to keep an eye on my vehicle and it was relatively quiet. This is kind of like an international hotel most of the guests are coming from Europe other places so if you're a Yankee it's pretty awesome to meet new people. The two people that I dealt with the day shift and the night shift or morning and evening were both amazing guys. Truly awesome great service. It's easy to doordash stuff if you need it there's a couple of really good places in the area and you're not all that far from the pier. The neighborhood is mostly residential and felt very very safe. During the day they'll be lots of dog walkers This is a nice place to be. I would recommend that you pack a pair of flip flops with you to make your shower experience better but the cleaning staff does a great job and honestly this is way cleaner than many places I've stayed. I definitely will come back if I'm in Santa Monica again. "
