Our stay was made extra special with a room upgrade and a camp fire on Saturday night. Over all our stay was very relaxing and pleasant. It would have been perfect except for the noise from the holiday weekend motorcycle traffic going to and from the mountains.

I had to stay here for 23 days while waiting on our home to close. I had a wonderful experience and felt like family and that they really took care of me. The breakfast that Thelma makes was excellent as always! Great place to stay!

This Hotel is Awesome The owners are so nice it was truly a joy to stay when we left I felt like we were leaving family. The hotel is perfectly located close enough to everything but far enough away to be peaceful. I would recommended this hotel for anyone's stay in Ellijay

Needs better circulation in room. Kids where complaining that they where hot on the other side of the room from ac. Room ac was set on 60 to help with situation.. don't know why hotels don't have fans in there rooms.

We travel some every year; and what I try to find is a well maintained older motel. These are often on or close to an old US highway that parallels an Interstate; and were likely built before the Interstate system was complete. They were very nice when new. However with the Interstate system now in place, there is a lot more traffic, and this gives the new larger motel chains an incentive to build more and more brand new state of the art units, with a price tag to go with it. We enjoyed waking up to the rooster and wandering the property to meet the other animals. The cabin was clean and had a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and small refrigerator. The last stretch is a gravel road. Lots to explore in the area. The property is very secluded and quiet. We hope to make a return trip.
