“Elevator had an electrical issue at some point on Saturday. Management decided that it would be better to wait until Monday to get it fixed. Electricians do make weekend service calls?? Breakfast food insufficient for the number of guests on both Saturday and Sunday mornings. The breakfast coffee and orange juice was empty and staff members were in no hurry to address it once notified.”

“The Golden Inn in its day was the perfect place to stay. And for me, today it is still the perfect place to stay. The Golden Inn is one of those mature roadside motels I remember staying in as a kid while on family trips. I was in the area for a couple of days for a little gathering and needed a place to sleep and shower. As mentioned, the Golden Inn is an older motel with modern updates”

“This hotel was very clean but a little dated. It did appear that some upgrades were being made. The staff was very friendly! We were happy our little dog was welcome and there was a nice grassy area for her to explore. The complimentary breakfast was good and had lots of choices! The only thing that needs attention is the pool area. The pool itself had very clear/clean water and was very nice and relaxing, however the area around the pool was not clean. It appeared that maybe there was a pool……
