“My son and I were very pleased with this hotel. The property is very nice and well maintained. There is plenty of parking. The staff was friendly and helpful. We only used the breakfast option one day due to our schedule and it was good. It had a variety of items to choose from. There is also a coffee / tea bar in the lobby which was nice on the days I missed breakfast. The rooms are clean, comfortable, quiet and had everything we needed. “The Golden Inn in its day was the perfect place to stay. And for me, today it is still the perfect place to stay. The Golden Inn is one of those mature roadside motels I remember staying in as a kid while on family trips. I was in the area for a couple of days for a little gathering and needed a place to sleep and shower. As mentioned, the Golden Inn is an older motel with modern updates”

“The evening clerk was very helpful. It was fairly late in the evening when we checked in but we hadn't had dinner yet. I asked the clerk for a few paper plates from the breakfast area to use for our late night dinner and she cheerfully offered them.”

“If booking through Expedia be prepared to be told that you’re gonna get whatever room they want to give you. I booked two jetted tub rooms, but had made a request that I preferred the top floor with connecting rooms if possible. I was told the manager reached out to me to tell me that the jet tubs were not upstairs, but that they would accommodate us up there with double queen rooms. I never got that message because I would’ve said no then put us downstairs with the jetted tubs and after we had……
