“I was disappointed the moment I entered the property. It looked old and there was a distinct smell to the carpet or something in the area. My bedsheet in the room was not new, it obviously looked used. I called up the Front Desk for help at 4 PM. I was told the cleaners are gone for the day. However, the front desk guy was nice enough to give me new pair of sheets and pillow covers. That certainly sounded fresh and new. The next day, I went for a complimentary breakfast. The strawberries……

“Hotel was pet friendly. Great on site restaurant. Only slight issue s; strange light settings. One switch at door controlled entire room. Meant you couldn't have just a bedside lamp on w o having whole room on. No bathroom fan, but bathroom was very nice.”

“It looked pretty new and the room was big and clean. There were always snacks in the lobby area which was nice. There was a small box of Christopher Elbow chocolate in the room as a welcoming gift and we enjoyed it. ”

“The internet and AC were great, our in-room phone did not work, and the side tables were very dusty. We also didn't have enough towels, only 2 for 2 people. Couldn't call for room service on room phone, had to use personal phone. Asked for more towels and pillows and were told we needed to come down to the desk to retrieve them. Also, couldn't find hairdryer, eventually after searching everywhere, found it inside the draw safe, so random. The room service food was pretty good, but pricey. The……

“Bed had a big sunken in area in middle - very uncomfortable. Did not sleep well at all. Bar area was nice, however, I felt sorry for the one bartendar, for he was overwhelmed - he was workiing as hard as he could to keep up with the amount of people.”

“We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, our rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel was good with communicating a situation with our stay before the stay and was able to make accommodations for us. We ate breakfast at the breakfast buffet one morning, good selection of food. We were close to everything we waned to do. We were in town primarily to see Hamilton at the Kansas City Music Hall, it was 7 mins from the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.”
