“The morning breakfast, though free, was less than desirable. Probably would give it a 2-star rating (at best). The room was clean and generally well kept up (3-4 stars). The check-in process was undesirable as well (1 star). Since we had a confirmation already with Expedia, I would have expected them to ask less questions, but it was a full-blown on-line check in (Name, address, credit card, drivers license, etc.), I would recommend just checking in at the hotel and NOT online. I will say the……

“The staff at Lakes Inn at Dunvilla is the epitome of Minnesota nice. I have never had such friendly and helpful treatment as was experienced during an overnight stay. We travelled through some scary weather on a rainy night to get there, arriving several hours later than planned. The night clerk was waiting at the door with a luggage cart ready for me, and a request to use the hot tub for a quick soak to ease my sore shoulders was generously given. The room was large and well designed. ……

“Very small but clean and comfortable would recommend to anyone”

“The staff are awesome. Friendly, helpful, welcoming. No issues there at all. About the only issue I had was the cleanliness. It wasn't filthy, but the bathroom was pretty bad. I don't think it had been really cleaned in a while. Whoever stayed there before us, their shampoo & body wash samples that hotels give out were still in the shower. There was a lot of dirt & grime, unfortunately. The beds were clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was broken, so it was a sweat box in there for……

“Never rent from a property that does not have outside pictures. The inside is a published. I arrived at the property to 2 people smoking a glass pipe in the parking lot. turns out they rented the place across the hall. There are several windows broken on the second floor. The same host has all 4 properties. These are multi person flop houses. I walked in the door he suggested to have the mold hit me in the face, I could not breathe by the time I got the property door. dealing with VRBO to……

“Host was great! We will be back, really enjoyed it! ”

“It is a basement apt. There was no smoke detector. Very musty. We emptied the full dehumidifier but did not help. There are area rugs on top of area rugs throughout. Looks like it is to cover the water damage. Broken/missing tile in the tub/shower. There is nowhere to hang clothes. Tony was very responsive but we will not stay there again.”

“The Host was extremely effective at communication, with helpful directions to enter the apartment. Each unit was labeled well.”

“This house was very lovely and everything was as it was described on the website. The neighborhood was very nice and had great neighbors. Aaron was very responsive to any questions that I had.”

“From the ease of checking in and out, to the amount of space we can say this is a property to keep on the list! Comfortable beds are a top priority and they did not disappoint. The kitchen space and supplies made making dinner so easy. The place was cleaned professionally and properly which I really appreciate.I just hope this place will be available for our next trip to the area!”

“Quiet yet located to everything!”

“Very comfortable home. Clean & convenient for our need. Good communication with host and easy check in. Would definitely stay there again of the need arises.”

“Cozy place, worked well for our family of four. It's a block away from the river and parks. We saw deer and rabbits. Great communication from the host.”

“Host was very responsive and helpful as questions came up. Very cool, fun area!!”

“When you open the side door with a passcode, be sure to wait a little bit for the lock to disengage.”
