“The place has a very pretty view, however, it’s a long drive over a road with a lot of potholes., the hot tub wasn’t working, and neither was the WiFi. Our room had the bathroom outside of the room, and they placed a sofa right in front of our door, so when we needed to go to the bathroom, there was always someone seating in the sofa, which was very uncomfortable., and even though our room had a beautiful view, there was a place for a couple to sit- right outside our window, so we had no way of……

“The best review I can write about is that I didn't want to leave. The Bear Manor is a special place. It is a great jumping off point for many adventures. I loved the staff and open breakfast where you could interact with others seeking adventures. It had everything I needed and nothing I didn't.”

“This was a very funky hotel billed as a bed and breakfast. The property is well over 100 years old and clearly has some deferred maintenance issues, but it was so cool and funky. I would go back in a heartbeat. I’m sure the staff is really good but when I showed up there, the door was locked there was nobody at the desk. Nobody responded to my ringing the bell and nobody answered the phone, so at that point as I was getting really frustrated. I looked down and saw an envelope with my name on it……

“Queen Ann B&B was wonderful from check-in to check -out. Hannah met us with warm friendly welcome, showed us around. She even made us snickerdoodle cookies! The room was very spacious and quiet...cozy. We opted to walk across the park to a wonderful little Italian restaurant. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and plenty.( yogurt, fruit, cranberry bread slab, scrambled eggs, stuffed pita bread, coffee & orange juice). Check out was simple and painless. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We will be back.”
