El Colorado Lodge
2.5 star property
7.6 out of 10, Good, (79)
"I stayed here because of the location to Red Rocks, which was perfect. Also, you can't ask for a better restaurant right across the street at the mountain cafe. The family that owns the lodge, I would rather support them than the Hiltons, they are great. If you need something just ask the front desk. Now, the casitas are not luxury and I don't mind that one bit. The A/C worked and the bed was comfortable. I was in 16. What I didn't like was the 'Sofa' was a futon so it was low to the ground...

"My son and I stayed in cabin 7, and we were both pleased with the cabin. It’s a 2 bedroom, small kitchen, small living area. It was cute. The beds and bedding were comfortable. The bathroom tub looked new and shower was fine. Appliances worked fine. It was cute. Felt perfectly safe. Easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park. I can’t speak for the other cabins or motel rooms, but cabin 17 was pleasant."

"Private and serene feeling! The casita was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and private. The pools were refreshing, relaxing with breathtaking views from every area of the resort! We took a UTV tour with Luke, it was exceptional! The cruiser bikes were nice to have. My husband and I took evening rides along the road around the property to see the mule deer. The breakfast at the Paradox grill was delicious, and the other meals there are good. The only thing I would suggest that would make...
