“There are too many mosquitoes at the door”

“I always stop here when I am in town . Staff is great, property is worn, but clean.”

“Definitely an old motel, all outside entrances. Back in the day, I'm sure it was probably very nice. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We could not get the TV to work, but we were already in bed before we discovered that. The blow dryer in the bathroom didn't work either. It appears to be a motel that work crews stay for extended periods of time because of the reasonable price. It was fine for one night as we passed through Clinton, but if you are looking for luxury, this motel……

“Do NOT book this hotel online!! They do not honor online reservations! We booked through Hotels.com and when we arrived they said they no longer use Hotels.com and that we had no reservation. They had none of the rooms we had booked. They only take reservations made through that specific hotel. ”

“The property was covered in mouse poop including the closet, cot, the silverware/utensil draws, pantry and around other spots of the cabin. There was also soooo many daddy long legs…like EVERYWHERE. A draw in the bathroom was also full of water. The host did tell us there would be no internet before arriving, which wasn’t that big of a deal and she said she would knock a certain amount off of our stay for each day we don’t have internet. “What a great find! The location was perfect, right outside of Petit Jean Park so hiking was quick to get to. The porch was a great place to sit and watch the birds, squirrels, and a few more creatures. The house was well stocked and had comfortable beds and a big kitchen table for board games. Our hosts were very kind and great had clear communication. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we had a great time.”

“We really enjoyed sitting on the back deck enjoying the view and using the fire pit. The house is about 5 minutes from Mather Lodge in Petit Jean. The beds are very comfortable and the family room/ kitchen is comfortable and convenient. Lots of cookware and dishes/glassware. Bring basics like cooking oil, spices, dishwasher soap, trash bags. We had problems with the toilets and the owner was very responsive. ”
