“We really enjoyed our weekend here. Quiet and secluded, but still very close to Grand Marais. A path just outside accesses a whole network of trails, we hiked to Pincushion Mountain. And the SHT connects here as well if you want to go further. The furnishings are simple in a very nice way; a folding table with two folding chairs, an electric kettle and a mini fridge are great for morning coffee or simple meals. The only thing we would have changed would be trading the two twin beds for a single……

“Great place to stay! Very happy with the bunkhouse and the amenities. The host was VERY communicative about the property and what to expect which was great for us. We would happily stay again. No running water (yet, they might in the future), but we knew that going in and it wasn’t an issue for us at all. Close to grand marais and the Canadian border. ”

“We had a great time at the Norse Hus! The cabin was cozy and warm once we lit a fire upon arrival, and just right for us. The heating system kept us very comfortable throughout our stay. We found a few games and puzzles in the porch chest. The kitchen was well stocked and included coffee filters, creamers, cocoa, and condiments! Thanks! The cabin is in the woods and we enjoyed exploring the "backyard" woods in snowshoes and stargazing at night. We ate out a few times at nearby Poplar Haus,……
