Top Cook Island Hotel Reviews

Parmer's Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Nice property! Large clean room, swimming pool, laundry available, nice fresh grab and go breakfast. Outside area was on the water and nice, but didn’t have time to enjoy it. Wish they had an ironing board and iron in the room."

Big Pine Key, 75 feet wide canal 8 feet depth with Direct Access Gulf & Atlantic

10/10 Excellent

"Great location, quick access to the Ocean! House was very comfortable! Having a chiller on the pool was a HUGE bonus especially in this June heat! Loved the Paddleboards, garage was great as we could store all the dive & fishing gear close to the boat! Saw lots of Manatees in the canal! The hosts were very easy to communicate with! We hope to come back every year!"

Cozy 2-bedroom house in charming Big Pine Key with canal view and relaxing pool

10/10 Excellent

"The property was exactly as described. The pool was great. Everything was clean and the host was responsive. It was a very private and quiet neighborhood. The kitchen items left a little to be desired, but overall wasn't a big deal. We were able to cook many meals in the home. We would stay here again and enjoyed the property."

Beachfront 3B/3B Fishing Oasis

10/10 Excellent

"This house was exactly how we like to vacation. The property is cozy with a laid-back easy-living vibe. Perfect place to launch your kayaks, then lounge in the pool afterwards. Great water views with no mangroves to interrupt it.The kitchen was fully stocked with all the dishes, pots/pans, and appliances you could need. Gas grill downstairs. I did try out the pizza oven, but it was just too windy for it to be effective. There are many very good Cuban restaurants nearby. 8 minutes to Big Pine where you’ll find more restaurants, shops, and Winn-Dixie for groceries. 30 miles into Key West if you feel the need to be a tourist.Definitely want to return for another stay if the property (which is for sale) remains on the vacation rental market. We stayed for a month in April and the temperatures were perfect."

Keys Paradise 2-bedroom, 2-bath with heated pool & direct access to the Atlantic

8/10 Good

"Overall, the home was beautiful and well equipped with necessities. The manager Niki was a sweetheart and very helpful. The only problem was the property was listed as "No Pets", someone had pets in the home. I along with a few of my children and grandchildren have pet allergies. There was pet dander in multiple places in the home. Next time I will insist on a "Pet Free" home. Also, the home next door had four dogs out on their deck of which two dogs barked all day and into the night. After meeting with several neighbors complaining about the nuisance, I called the sheriff's department and reported the situation. "

Keys To The Kingdom! Private Oceanfront Retreat with Beach and Pool

10/10 Excellent

"We just spent 31 nights in Jan/Feb 2026 celebrating our 48th wedding anniversary. The location was perfect for exploring all the keys. We even drove up to Miami Beach one day and was easy to get back before sunset. The location was great for day trips to Key West, getting there in less than 45 minutes. The house is on a very quiet dead-end road. There is a convenience store within 2 miles and a Winn-Dixie within 5 miles. The bird life and key deer on the beach were amazing. The heated pool was so nice and well maintained. The large washer and dryer were very nice. The Kitchen had everything we needed. The place was relaxing. Greg was very helpful and attentive. We would give this place more than 5 stars if we could."

5 Pirate's - Pool & seawall for boat.<br>This is a pet friendly home. A pet fee and approval of your pet is required.

8/10 Good

"The house is sufficient for 2 couples, 3 in a pinch (with only 2 showers) and 2 (only) moderately sized vehicles. It was clean, kitchen sufficient for cooking. Host responsive. Exterior furniture needs some TLC but nothing that prohibited us from having a nice time. Boat dock ok for 23' boat. Decent high tide launch on the other side of island. Take your own Roku for any tv beyond basic Xfinity cable. Internet not stable some times, may just be what is available on Little Torch"
