“We had a lovely, short stay at Finca Barlovento. The property is beautiful, the atmosphere is restful and the overall feeling is very private and low-key, with a high level of service. The staff was very conscientious and accommodating. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. “We had a great stay at Yachay. The staff is very caring. The food at the restaurant is absolutely delicious. The hotel is surrounded by nature and therefore very relaxing. I wished there was a larger pool but we appreciated the jacuzzi and made good use of it. The hotel is very close to the entrance of the park but has some steep stairs, therefore not for people with mobility issues. You have to get tickets for the park as the hotel is inside the park. Entrance to the park is only until 3 pm so……

“Terrific property but be warned. The Agoda map location is absurdly wrong. The map in Agoda makes it look close to Minca but the actual distance is miles away. Once you get to the property you aren’t going to Minca unless you’re willing to pay 140 k pesos each way. That said I would stay again. The restaurant food is pretty good but for some reason dinner servings were just warm when they should be hot. The hikes and other activities are fun”

“Fantastic location just near the main restaurant street, with heaps of food options nearby and even within the hotel itself. The staff were so friendly and fantastic. The food at the restaurant, including breakfast, was delicious! The rooms are spacious and clean, great aircon and fan needed for the hot days. We went for a swim for a river next to the hotel and it was so clean and refreshing, would absolutely recommend staying here!”
