“Was quiet n comfy. I liked their cats. One thing was no milk for cereal my one n only complain overall very nice room n on suite fit my needs perfect. The guys were very friendly. ”

“The cabin we stayed in is basically a tiny home and it is quite uneven, the furnishings are extremely warn and nope in taking the cover off the water was so cloudy we passed. No host on sight either. The greatest thing about this place is the location and history now, i needs the care it deserves.”

“Staff was very helpful and kind. The workout room does not have a variety of equipment. Breakfast was great! Just wish hours started at 6:00 AM on weekends. We will stay there again in May and July.”

“Right in downtown Shelton, The Shelton Inn is a cozy quaint hotel that is attached to Blondies Diner. The rooms are clean, the bathroom accommodates all your needs and the added touch of the Victrola/ Bluetooth speaker is a nice added touch.”

“No hot water and no communication. We had no hot water - like the hot water was turned off, it was ice cold and no faucet increased. We called, texted, and messaged through Expedia, and got no response. No one is on site. If I am paying this price for a lodge stay I expect to be able to have hot - or at the very least warm water. I didn’t want to give a bad review but I have emailed and messaged the hotel since then and only get automated responses. It was a disappointment because we like going……

“The first room provided had a smoke smell. We had to take all are luggage back to the first floor front desk. We changed rooms. There is a swimming pool but in the Winter, we enjoy the spa but they didnt provide it. My son was cold so he wanted to take a bath but the water stopper was broken. Staff tried to fix it but she said tomorrow at 7 am people could come to fix it or we could change rooms again. We do not appreciate the service but we did not want to change rooms again. Staff service and……

“Nice room overall. Fireplace was nice. Everything worked. However, the bathroom and entry tile had a lot of grime and dirt showing on it. It was not from a recent stay but appeared to be accumulation over time. I wonder if the carpet was that dirty too. ”
