“The office is a beautiful, comfortable space. Staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The room was clean, the coffee pot cracker, and the bed/pillows incredibly comfortable. Appreciated having the in-room fridge. The breakfast is better described as continental. If you want protein, hit up The Egg and I or an actual diner/café. And if you do grab breakfast at the motel, you’ll be eating that breakfast outside or in your room. Just things to keep in mind Overall 3.5/5.”

“Sweet spot on the mighty Merrimac river. Great location. Walk over the bridge to Newburyport. Stayed off season. Room was clean, nicely furnished. No staff onsite, that I was aware of. Code was emailed, and let ourself in.”

“I’ve stayed here a couple times it was late when I got in. It was difficult to even get a cup of tea and the person at the desk acted like she was annoyed. The place is clean. The location is very good, shopping and dining are convenient, the front desk is fast, the room has no odor, the location is easy to find, and there is free wireless internet. I chose a family room, that can accommodate 5 people. The price is very cost-effective and the stay experience is good! It is worth recommending this hotel.”

“This motel is about the view. It smells like old motel, and the hot water is sometimes unreliable, but the staff was very nice, and you can't beat that view of the ocean at sunrise and at moonrise. It's a short drive to the more touristy areas of York Beach, but if you're looking for peace and quiet, this place will work fine. You can cross the street for a nice walk along the more rocky areas of the beach.”

“I could connect to the Hotel's WIFI, but the WIFI connection to the internet was terrible. OK to read email. but not good enough to do any real work from my room. Also, as a pet friendly Hotel there should be a dog walk area.”

“The room was clean. The shades did not darken the room. There were no curtains to pull closed at night and it was very bright in the room which made it impossible to sleep without an eye mask. The shower head leaked and the toilet clunks when sitting on it.”

“There is no hot tub like advertised.. the pool is very cold. We booked this hotel because it said it had a hot tub and come to find out the hot tub is no longer there. Was not happy at all...”
