"No pool due to maintenance which was a real upset. Rooms were basic, clean and no issues for the price. We had ordered connecting rooms and had to ask for the door to be opened between them. Breakfast was good only negative was the coffee machine didn’t warm the milk. We tried 3 times and it was always the same. Good for one or two nights and free parking was a bonus."

"Buffet breakfast was tepid, warm plates would have helped. Our second morning after our request they cooked it fresh to order - massive improvement. Unfortunately for our evening meal we were served undercooked batter on our fish. Restaurant staff handled brilliantly. Residences are not a part of the hotel in the main house but converted cottages, a short walk away and unlit. The toilet in the main bedroom wouldn't stop filling. Husband managed to shut it off, reported to reception next morning. Next night same occurred, we were told maintenance had gone home, luckily we managed to switch it off but making it unusable for a second night. Not really acceptable. Need a shelf for shower toiletries as they are on the floor. Second bedroom ensuite has a bath with shower over - needs a curtain of some sort as water goes everywhere.No spare pillows as one may have anticipated in the main hotel and they were quite flat. I'm sure more would have been available if we had asked again. The 'dressing table' needs a chair/stool to sit on no-one can stand to the mirror height. The heating in residence could only be set for 2 hours at a time so walked back into a cool property although the bedroom seemed to work continuously. More mugs are needed, we had to ask. Washing up liquid needs to be supplied. The property and bedlinen were spotlessly clean. No safe in the room. Spa was fine. "

"Great location but rooms very basic and a bit tired. Ok for a short stay. Cant comment on breakfast as there was a powercut and so no breakfast. This was a street wide issue"

"Beautiful property within walking distance of all the resturaunts and shopping. Staff was super friendly and breakfast was delicious."

"Room could have been cleaner had glass over dresser but eas dirty below the glass . Breakfast came out in dribs and drabs water for the tea/coffee was warm and not hot"

"Picked this hotel as a stop off for the ferry to jersey. Had everything we needed. Breakfast really good. Had to pay for parking which we didn’t really appreciate."

"The hotel was in a good location and provided parking at a cost of £15 a night. I feel £10 should be a max. When we arrived, there was no warm welcome nor real eye contact, which ws bad, no smiles, no helpful information about the place.!"
