The breakfast was wonderful, offering a great start to the day. Plus, the location couldn't be better; it’s just two steps from the bus station, making it incredibly easy to get into Amsterdam.( 314 directly to Central). We will absolutely be coming back. Friendly and useful staff, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, the cottage was spacious and clean, and supplied with sufficient equipment (including a recent dishwasher and quite comfortable beds). Only 20 minutes away from Amsterdam if you fancy a visit , but Volendam itself is definitely worth exploring. We highly recommend this place ."

"This apartment was clean and comfortable. The location was close to shops and restaurants. Volendam was an adorable town and we highly recommend the Volendam museum for local history. Bus stops and ferries were convenient for day trips to Amsterdam, Utrecht, Hoorn and Marken."

"The house boat was a great family experience. The Volendam Marina area is fantastic for scenery, restaurants, and it's close proximity to Amsterdam. We took a 30 minute bus ride into Amsterdam for a day excursion. The bus service is convenient and easy to use for tourists.(just remember to swipe on and off)"

"The house was furnished comfortably but the 3 bedroom was up a steep flight of stairs rather than ground level. Restaurants nearby and a few minutes walk into Volendam where there are further choices of bars and restaurants. Everything worked well with check-in on a smartphone. The app to use the key was very slow on my phone. Small pack provided with a bin liner, some washing up liquid and cloth. Very easy to catch bus to Amsterdam Central Station with couple of minutes walk to the bus...
