"Very secluded location. Villa worked well for us as a party of 16 as it is laid out as 4 separate apartments. Villa owner very helpful and allowed us to set up a communal kitchen. During our stay the owner responded promptly to any request e.g. repair of basketball hoop for the kids! Plenty of supermarkets in nearby Perama. Good beaches within 20-30 minutes drive. Would recommend at least a day in Rethymno - water sports and Old Town."

"The Villa was even nicer than the pictures. Very clean, everything Modern, great view of the ocean. Pool was good size and clean. Excellent location. Very short walk to the beach and stores and restaurants. Christina was very attentive to our needs. If we needed her, she was there within 15 minutes. "The villa is as described and was perfect for our stay 6 girls. The out door area is superb and everywhere is really clean. The sunbeds are amazing !! If you want to visit a few places I would advise a car as the taxis can be a bit pricey. "My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."
