“We liked everything except the toilet tissue; it was horribly thin. I would think be part of such a large chain of hotels the quality would have been a bit better. Otherwise, everything was great.”

“To be fair, the staff was respectful and attentive despite the property’s many challenges. The building and room entry systems were frequently dysfunctional, and, strangely, my room didn’t even have a headboard. The most serious issue, however, was the pervasive mildew or mold odor. Overall, I was profoundly disappointed with the facility.”

“We had one of the most pleasant stays at a hotel that we’ve ever had. We were especially impressed with Tiara and how helpful and accommodating she was during our stay. A real standout!”

“Sheets had holes in them and looked dirty, had to buy new clean sheets to place over it. The room had a strong odor, lights were dim as hell, bought and installed my own. Door looked like it had been kicked in after a police drug bust. On the bright side the A/C was operational during a heat wave.”

“So when we got there there was no check in desk and the guy said on text that we need to go across the street to motel 6 to get a key card and pin for our door and when we got to motel 6 the lady said that she doesn’t know anything about the hotel next door and basically the guy lied and scammed us and we didn’t get see our room”

“Do not book this motel. Our window was broken for the duration of the trip, which was addressed at arrival. We were told maintenance would come to fix it, but no one ever showed up. Someone ended up climbing in through our window at 7am, which is when we discovered the window didn’t even lock. Police were called and they talked to the staff about getting someone to come and fix the window. Our window was broken for our entire weekend trip. This situation actually took up most of our 4th of July.……

“Typical Jersey Motel the smell, the look, the size. I guess if you compare prices it’s an ok price but definitely not worth the price for that room. 10 minutes from Point Pleasant I guess if you have no other choice.”

“when i got there at noon with a reservation there was no one at the front desk the door was locked. there was a phone number on the door to call so i called 5 times and no answered . i needed a room so i went to a different hotel.”

“My only complaint was with the fitness room.. I would hope it would be 24 hr access in the future”

“Disappointing stay — needs serious attention to cleanliness and maintenance I recently stayed at the SureStay by Best Western in New Jersey for a couple of nights. While the staff was genuinely friendly and helpful, unfortunately that was the only positive aspect of the stay. The property is clearly an older building, and it shows. The furniture throughout the room felt very dated, and one of the chairs was broken. There was a strong, unpleasant smell in the room that never went away.……
