“Beautiful Inn- so glad a historical part of the Outer Banks still exists. Love the private walkway to the beach; very convenient and the beach wasn't crowded for the end of the summer season. Wish they had a Chef...the only drawback was not having the breakfast on-site. The breakfast vouchers helped. Will definitely come back to stay! The wrap around porch with the breezes from the sound and ocean were wonderful!!”

“This is a renovated motel. It is a fine stay, just sad that i paid so much for it. The pool is next to the property behind a restaurant and their dumpster, which is probably why the pool was covered with roaches. Weird stains on the ceiling making me think there was mold, as well as weird stains in the bathroom (shower and sink). Meaning it was not properly cleaned. I was told i was getting a beach view room and i did not. Not worth my $120”

“We checked in a bit late for we had been out most of the day traveling. The television did not connect to any type of service so no television. Air was on very high. Room was cold and there was moisture all over everything. The door to the room and some of the furniture had rust on them. Staff were not present throughout our stay. Would look for other accommodations if returning to the area.”

“The property was good; the staff helpful and friendly. The stairs were rather inconvenient for carrying a suitcase. The only way to get to my room was several flights of stairs. The keypad on the door was a little clunky, but the room key worked fine. Glad we stayed here for our girls trip, but not sure I'd choose to stay here again. For the price, I expected a bit more, but it was still very nice. Parking spaces hard to come by, but we managed a spot every time.”

“I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this room is. I booked it because it's right on the beach. It was so nice to walk up a set of stairs and be there. I didn't expect a stove or coffee pot in the rooms. But there was also charcoal for a community grill. We never really saw any staff, but all the info we needed was sent by email.
