“Great place to take the family and visit the nearby beaches. Head and Popham are within 15 minutes. We were booked in a Lighthouse room that had the view of the water blocked by trees and management was very helpful switching us to a better room.”

“The hotel is badly in need of an update. Sad empty rooms with very old outdated furniture. The hotel is clean but tired. I also object to spending over $600.00 for a two night stay and there being no housekeeping service unless requested. Even if requested the service is minimal unless you are there for four nights. I was very disappointed.”

“Reasonably clean property but there seemed to be a lot of corners being cut. Checked in at around 10:30 pm after a long cross country flight. There were no sheets on the sofa bed or the comforter pack in either of the two rooms we booked, so we dealt with that. Next morning went in for a shower and the shampoo was all empty - nothing at all. Went downstairs and there were no glasses for water. Overall it is a clean property but has a lot of quality issues in their service. And the staff……

“The cookware mentioned in the description consisted of one tiny pot with no lid and one frying pan. The "stovetop" was a Coleman gas stove. The refrigerator drained the battery for the generator, so we couldn't use it reliably. We are experienced backwoods campers, so if we had known all of this, we would have brought our own cookset, and food that did not require refrigeration. Otherwise, it was fun for us to experience "glamping." Aaron was very responsive to messages and eager to help with……

There were many thoughtful touches included and stocked – soaps, first aid supplies, snacks and staples - he even recalled my asking about a grill and set that up for us!
