“This was a very lovely place with lots of potential but when we check in the tent was completely closed in and the AC unit was not running. I messaged but I was told that the AC unit was just to make it “comfortable to sleep”. It was well over 100 degrees in the tent when my 71 year old mother and I arrived. I have stayed in glamping tents before but they always turn the AC unit on before you arrive so it’s not so horribly hot. There were also ants everywhere. My mother and I had to leave to……

“We loved our stay at Walden Retreats. Becky checked us in and was so welcoming and informative of our tent and things to do while we were there. I was worried that the tent would be warm in the first of August, but we kept the shades down during the day and the fans on. My husband and I actually woke up cold in the morning, so we were just fine. I couldn't believe how clean the tent itself was. They had special touches like robes, luxury bath towels, and fantastic smelling shampoo and……

“We’re not campers and didn’t really know what glamping was all about until we walked into our cabin. A microwave, frig, indoor bathroom, and one of the most comfy beds we’ve slept in!! The first night we enjoyed wine and pizza on the patio at the onsite winery and then sat out under the stars on the front deck of our cabin. After a road trip around the area, we ended our second night with wine and a charcuterie try at the winery and again a night under the stars. We were looking forward to a……
