“Had a wonderful time just north of The Dells a wee bit. My wife and I highly recommend The Lodge at Mauston! If you’re looking for a getaway just a short drive from southern or central Wisconsin, or wherever you’re from. Go to the nearby state parks and roam around the countryside or visit The Dells. “This is obviously and old, established hotel that was probably in the upper echelon in its heyday. It is very clean; staff is extremely pleasant and price was quite reasonable. Close enough to Wisconsin Dells while avoiding Wisconsin Dell prices. There is no water park, which is okay, you can find many, right down the road. They don't have continental breakfast because an excellent breakfast buffet comes with the price. They have a nice pool and hot tub. Even our five-year-old grandson really……
