“Had a wonderful time just north of The Dells a wee bit. My wife and I highly recommend The Lodge at Mauston! If you’re looking for a getaway just a short drive from southern or central Wisconsin, or wherever you’re from. Go to the nearby state parks and roam around the countryside or visit The Dells. “This place is a hidden gem, and the staff is amazing. Rooms are clean and big. While there are not many restaurants in the area, the Chinese place in the plaza with McD can be recommended! Breakfast and coffee are good. There is tons of parking, so no worries is you have a trailer or whatever. For a one night stop, this place is fantastic. The staff here is incredible. Shout outs to Linda and Ruth Ann who went to extraordinary lengths to help me retrieve my medical bag. Thank you so much!”

“The cabin was not cleaned very well, we had dirty stained towels. The pools were warm but only one was clean. It was very pricey and we couldn't check in until 4pm but had to check out at 11 which I didn't like, plus we were checking in on a Monday and the office was not open, a packet was left with the key and paperwork outside the office door.
