“Check in was different. Called a number and they told me the room number. No in person.”

“A good simple no frills room, everything was clean and the value was great! Would stay here again!”

“The hotel was very dirty. Garbage cans overflowing outside. Moldy ac vent in the room. Garbage left in the room from previous tenants. cockroach in our bathroom. The sink had snot and toothpaste residue from previous tenants.”

“When we pulled up the outdoor pool was empty and if order. The indoor pool’s heater was not working so the water was cold. Hot tub was cold and sauna was out of order. Didn’t look like the pool area was ever swept and there was even a urine ketone test strip on the ground. The first room smelled like marijuana. The second run MM room’s security lock on the door was broken off and there was an inappropriate sticker on the fridge. Empty vending machines”

“Room was clean. Is located near a restaurant and a gas station.”

“The absolute worst. If I could give negative stars I would. We showed up and the place looked like it was about to be condemned. Then, we checked the room out and it was so damp and musty we refused it. Kindly, we were offered another room which was just as bad. We refused it as my wife has terrible allergies to mold and the like. We explained this to the property manager and he refused any sort of refund. So here we are 16 hours from home and no where to stay and we wanted to be within……

“Bed was a bit stiff ' bathroom door to in the room was to close to the toliet cant sit down without hitting your knee on the door when closing the door. Back of the hotel near sitting bench shows signs of neglect with missing a trash can.”

“Good location. Staff was great. Very clean. We are going back in July hopefully we can enjoy the pool and other amenities. Can’t wait”

“Family friendly”

“The property is old, and if it were just that, it would be one thing. There was moss growing all over the walkways, a weedy mess all around the buildings. Bugs everywhere. On top if it all, the room was very expensive for the equivalent of a cheap seedy motel room. They charge a resort fee on top of the room rate, which is laughable. They’re not even maintaining this property, let alone investing to bring it back to what it once was. There is no attempt at anything resembling accessibility,……

“The room and grounds were clean. The bed was uncomfortable and felt like it was going to fall apart any time you moved. The coffee area in the room was not impressive having an open container of coffee vs prepackaged is unsanitary. No soap or shampoo in. Room. Overall if your looking for a place to sleep and your passing by this place would be for you The bar and grill next door had good food”

“This hotel is exactly as advertised. It is a beautiful, quaint, elegant hotel in the middle of downtown Sedalia. They have really done a lot to maintain the original construction as much as possible. The food in the Oak Room was 5 stars and moderately priced. Excellent walking distance to almost anything you would like to see. The downtown architecture is beautiful. Would definitely return.”
