Spacious, clean, quiet rooms with luxurious linens and incredibly comfortable beds and pillows.The bathroom was also tops with thick soft towels and the best smelling lotion and wash/soap but most importantly, the water pressure was amazing! “This was a very sweet space. They thought of everything! There are a few things within walking distance, but it is a little farther out from the French Quarter area. That said, it is also more affordable than other places! There is offstreet parking, which is nice, but believe it when they say only small cars will fit!”

“When we checked in on 3/17 the lady at the desk that evening was not welcoming at all. That was a major turnoff from entering the door… not Welcome, not Hello, just do you have a reservation…. Like why do you think we’re here lady ? Most rooms are up about 20 stair, I got help with my bags my husband did not. When we checked out no help to bring bags downstairs. If you like a semi-soft springy mattress this is the place. Location is great but that’s about it. ”

“The breakfast was a huge disappointment. The pastry which was dry, cold and had tiny bits of sausage was terrible. Paying $350-400 per night we expected better. But the biggest irritation was seeing a $2800 charge on my credit card. The room was $1388 for 4 night. It took 3 people at the hotel to get an explanation. The explanation made no sense. It was to insure that extras would be paid!!!! We travel 100 days a year for many years. This was not only a first but nobody had a good……

Staff were all so fantastic from helping us check in early, to restaurant recommendations to facilitating our bag storage while we checked out and went to tour College of Charleston (reason for our trip). Rooms were very comfortable - spacious, nice linens, very clean. Hotel design is beautiful. Highly recommend. ”
