This was our first time to Casa Velas. We liked how everything looked. It has beautiful landscaping and it is maintained very well. We were greeted warmly and everyone we passed always met us with a smile, a greeting, and a hand placed over their heart. The entire staff is genuinely gracious and kind. Many team members went out of their way to accommodate us which we appreciated.
The restaurant service and the food were outstanding. I ate so much! I even requested chorizo added into my chilaquiles and eggs Benedict and the chef made great dishes with it. Even the appetizers (salad, soup, and caprese) were delicious. In fact, I ordered both the Cesar salad and the Tropical Caprese along with my dinner because I couldn't decide on which one to get. There was also a wide variety of drinks available at the restaurant, Pool side bar, and Lobby Bar.
The Beach Club (their property outside of the hotel) had great service too and their Tostada Zen was so good that we had 3 of them.
A shout out to some of the employees that we encountered were Sarahi and Miguel at the front desk, Ramon and Antonio at the pool bar, and Omar, Gerardo, and Ulises at their restaurant.
It is employees like the ones I mentioned above that make us want to return. Not only is their hotel beautiful but they have team members who are the ones who make the experience worth it.

Absolutely gorgeous property, one of the most unique stays I have ever experienced. Every room you get your own huge villa with spacious bathrooms, living spaces, and a private pool. You also have multiple pools on property on top of it. The staff is amazing, they treat you like VIP's and it's so amazing to be able to access the full property by boat, bike, golf cart, or good ole fashion walking. My only qualm about the property was that they don't have all restaurant options open so you're limited in choices also the pricing is pretty high. I don't think I spent less than $100 for every meal, but the food quality is top level and their bar has some of the most interesting drink combo's I've experienced. I would highly recommended everyone to stay on this property I cannot wait to come back and also very family friendly!
