"We made a last minute decision to spend two nights at the Carlisle Inn for graduation events. We made a great choice! We booked a regular room and received a complimentary upgrade to a room with a full kitchen which was lovely because I had to work on the Friday we were there, and the island connected to the kitchen was ideal for meetings. "This is more of a motel than a hotel....the rooms are accessed from the outside and the amenities are sparse. However, having said that, it is one of the better values in the Sarasota Siesta Key area. Just keep your expectations realistic. The hotel is generally clean, but there are not a lot of amenities. I probably wouldn’t stay more than a night or two but for the price point and convenience it was perfect. "
