“The place was suitable and clean. It is dated but the beds were comfortable and the pub next door was good. We liked the close proximity to downtown St. John’s. Our main complaint was the incredibly loud air conditioning unit right beside the bed. It rumbled, roared and delivered a high pitch in cycles. My second night was one without sleep. Even my hard of hearing husband found it loud. With no option to open the window for fresh air, we were hooped if we didn’t want a warm and muggy sleep.”

“The property did not disappoint.
The restaurant on site was excellent.
Good food, service and view.
Our room was a little outdated but it's a building that they are going to renovate soon.
The balcony from our room also had a nice view of the Muskoka river.
For the price I would highly recommend this Inn.
The staff were excellent.”

“so the room was fantastic, and of all the beds i slept in while travelling in Ontario, and there were many, lol, this was by far the best nights sleep i had, bar none. one other thing, i was really late getting there and the young lady at the front stayed after her shift was over to make sure i got in ok, that is the kind of thing you don't see often and i was so grateful! will most definitely be back next year, but for a few more days.”
