"My expectations were not very high given how remote this is, but the premium cottage we stayed in was MUCH nicer than I expected. It was newly updated and in great shape. Our only complaint was that there were no blackout curtains and in June it gets light before 6am. Other than that I would highly recommend this cabin."

"I can park close to the front door. They have 2 dollies for unloading the car with heavy coolers etc... Makes it SO EASY to get the car unloaded and to the room. JW"

"This is a stunning property that, even under construction during our stay, wowed us again and again with its natural beauty both inside and out (the waterfall should be one of the 8 Wonders of the World). I would recommend it to anyone seeking a quiet, restorative vacation. The staff is an 11 out of 10 not only in terms of helpfulness but also personality. Just a great group of lovely people catering to your needs and seemingly enjoying their jobs as much as we enjoy their service. On this same trip we stayed at a waterfront hotel in Seattle operated by a major brand, and the difference in quality and attention to detail and warmth was night and day. Give me the Salish every time over places like that. It is the best-run hotel I’ve stayed in since our trip to Italy some years back. Thank you, Salish! "

"Best hotel I have ever stayed in! My 8 yr old son is autistic and does a lot of stimming that he cannot control - including lots of loud running/pacing. The person below us apparently continuously complained at 3pm when quiet hours don’t start until 10pm. The hotel staff moved us to an upgraded room on the ground floor with a deck that my son could run on as much as he wanted. The staff & manager were amazing and so kind and apologetic about the grumpy person below us. I highly recommend this hotel."

"This apt was fantastic. In the heart of it all, we parked the car in our assigned spot and walked for the 2 day stay. The place was beautiful, roomy, and comfortable. Because it is downtown, you can hear the cars but the hosts left ear plugs and we used white noise on Spotify which made it all quiet. Plus, it got much quieter once the restaurants closed for the night. There is a coffee place right under the building so you barely need to get out of your Jammie’s for breakfast. You can even pre order an apple strudel which will be waiting for you on the counter, yum! We got there late and hadn’t eaten so we went to munchen haus, what can I say? Best food we ate, we went back the next day for lunch! Can’t wait to come back and stay again. The place you stay makes or breaks how you see the town and this was all glorious. "

"Historic hotel overlooking Riverview and beautiful waterfall. 100 plus year old facility with a unique old elevator serviced by a staff member. Very different and cool. Great patio for drinks in the evening and great grounds. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good value for a step back in history"
