“This was our 1st experience in PR. This house was AMAZINGLY beautiful and really show cased the outdoor space!! It was VERY clean, high quality linens. Had a nice cook space. The space it self was STUNNING!! The outdoor space was PERFECTION!!!! We actually booked for the lounge net area, and it did not disappoint!! **Downfalls [we understand that somethings are out of anyones control so more of a FYI] -There was nothing "comfy" about the house. It is all cement: bed frame, entire bathroom so……

“The hot tub didn't heat at all, but the rest of the place was great. The second floor patio had a gorgeous view of the mountain stream and jungle. There are a few houses nearby, but you mostly see jungle. The night jungle sounds were penetrating and delicious. Don't expect quiet, but you will love the sounds of the coqui and other jungle critters.”

“We arrived very late at night and it didn’t feel like a safe area. The security guard was very helpful and friendly. When we got to the lobby, we were disappointed at how dirty and unkept it was. The condo is outdated. The dining table was full of small insects, the counter was dirty. The dryer was missing the handle and the door was filthy. The refrigerator door was dirty. There were covers on the sofas that were also dirty. Unfortunately, I stayed my first night because we arrived late……

“the check in process is crazy too many steps to do . separate area to store luggage . no elevators we have to carry up the stairs our luggages not disclose in the website . the place is dirty the floors not being cleaned properly lots of dirt and dirt stain on the tile floors . smells smokey inside even tho it said non smoking in the website . the only good thing about casa pelayo is spacious apartment and the location is accessible to the old san juan and the airport ”

“What a hidden gem in the hills! We didn’t get to enjoy the property as much as we’d have liked to, but the pool and the apartment were really nice. Nothing fancy but a great experience nonetheless. It can be a little confusing to find and the directions thru the booking are not accurate at all. You’re better off asking Tomas to drop a pin at his location and following that instead of any other directions. Trust me on this one. Also, you are basically in the jungle! The night creatures are VERY……

“Excellent place and very calming and soothing environment. The staff was amazing and accommodating. ”

“House was clean and very nice. The only concern was the neighbors dog waking us up several times at night and the white box in the bedroom by the A/C makes a very loud noise for aprox 30 seconds every so often.”
