Staff on reception were so lovely; always attentive and ready to help. The room was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. The breakfast in the morning was good - pretty standard buffet breakfast - but the area didn’t seem to be very well stocked...

"I booked a twin room and ended up getting a double not great when you are staying with your 16 year old son but the hotel did sort out a camp bed for one of us to sleep on the hotel staff did a great job sorting that out with no trouble so I take my hat of to them for that but it would of been nice to have got the room type we had booked would definitely stay again very modern hotel great value for the money "

"The staff, and locals made me feel so welcome. I stayed overnight for business and was perfect. As a single female I was doubtful, but wow I was blown away with the kindness of all. "The guys at reception gave a warm welcome and helped with the bags to our room. Room was basically fine however the kettle could have done with a better clean. Decoration of the room was a little tired, but probably fine for most guys. The full English Breakfast was very good, well cooked and quality produce. My wife is gluten free, so had no alternatives such as porridge. Made do with some bacon and egg. The evening meal was also very good, but with a busy restaurant, service was a little slow....

But the DJ night didn't finish at 11 as the in-room message said it would (midnight, then bar noise for another while) ; the fire alarm went off the next night (quickly cancelled so clearly accidentally) but then you could hear furniture being moved around in the bar/cafe in the small hours... I guess for cleaning. I'd recommend taking earplugs. "
