“The hotel amenities were as advertised. However, with that many kids running around having a great time, the pools were kind of gross and dirty. Our room was spacious and nice. However, it was worn out. Lots of little broken things - rip in the couch, carpet coming up in places, dirty grout in bathroom, stove eyes all bent up, kitchen hardware felt sticky, dishwasher missing a wheel on the inside cart. Nothing that impeded the stay and my kids certainly didn't notice... they were having too……

“This is the second time we have stayed at the Grand Dunes. We were there one year ago, liked the property and returned this year. It had an old time style from the lobby to the rooms.
This year we found the room to be quite neglected. The items we noted were as follows:
The shower door would not close and had about a 6" gap.
The iron had the pointed end broken completely off.
The TV cabinet doors were hanging by only one hinge so it could not be closed.
