"Get ready to be immersed in history and antiques in this adorable cottage in Mt Gretna! Removed from the modern world, traffic, the city as well as modern conveniences. We love antiques & the wraparound porch, had a little issue with the mildew/mold and had to open all the windows & doors during our stay. Remember to bring your own hair dryer, iron or steamer & charger banks. All bedrooms are located upstairs & don’t have modern electrical outlets & not a lot of lights. Recommend arriving well...

From the moment of our arrival, we are welcomed by Carol and her delicious scones and fresh eggs from her chickens. We feel relaxed as soon as we open the door. The only disappointment we experienced was having to leave! We can't wait for our next visit!"

The pictures of the listing were accurate, but the listing failed to mention that the cottage is attached to a residence and sits directly in front of a shop. It was clean but there were areas that needed more attention. There was definitely some temperature swings between day and night, and between the first and second floor.
