"We loved the fire pit! Our area was nice and the breakfast was exactly what we needed to start our day. Everybody there was very friendly and helpful. Oh, and apparently my husband left a picnic basket of food on the top of our car for Yogi, but he never came to get it… Lol! "

"This was our second time staying at the Island. It is an extremely clean hotel with the nicest employees. They gave us free vouchers for drinks and a dessert at the restaurants after finding out it was my son’s birthday. The pool and hot tub are great and we were alone in it a few days so that was nice. I have a few complaints about the rooms. The floors make your feet black so that’s kind of yucky. The other complaint is just personal to me. We’ve had rooms overlooking the stores each time. The lights stay on all night so it’s very bright in the room when you’re trying to sleep and in the morning when the sun comes up. I like it to be a cave so that could just be a me issue. My only other complaint is the loading and unloading area. In busy times, there is nowhere to park and unload your luggage or load in your vehicle. Just a heads up. Overall we love this place and will return. "
