“Great property, give it a 4.5. Location is amazing and the grounds are beautiful, lots of chairs, blankets, fire rings, nooks. Right on the river with its own dock. Staff and manager are super welcoming and friendly (with the exception of one). Breakfast is continental style--coffee, tea, milk, juice, fruit, bread, muffin, cereal, yogurt. It might be nice if it started earlier than 9 am for those of us getting an early start on the day. Room was small as others have said but quite enough, bath……

“The Stavrand is the kind of place where you naturally begin to slow down, mentally and physically. The property has such a calm, grounded feeling to it, and it really lets you settle in without even trying. We stayed here as a family, and our son had the most wonderful time, jumping in the pool, hiking around the property, and even trying a plum or two straight from the tree. It felt peaceful for us and magical for him, which is such a rare and lovely combination. A beautiful stay, thoughtful……
