"We so enjoyed this house. It had everything we needed. The house is beautiful with three bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was so very nice with lots of extras. We thoroughly enjoyed the porch. So nice to relax and enjoy the weather. The location was excellent and it was within walking distance to restaurants and boutiques. The 6 of us loved it!!"

"Yearly my wife and I get away just to enjoy our time together. This is the second year in a row we stayed at this location and we are planning on next year already. "The basics on the property were as expected. The snacks were a nice touch and the basics for the property were fine. The TV only had Roku, so any network TV, such as watching the World Series at night, couldn't be done. I've stayed at other VRBOs and they were upfront about the TV channels access. Letting the renters know upfront on the property summary that the TV is only Roku should be done. The property manual on-site is way out of date and held in a broken spiral notebook. It contains...

"The cottage is cute, very clean and spacious. We walked the trail down to the creek and around the main house one morning. Very peaceful. We met the donkeys Chet and Lloyd and fed them carrots. Convenient to distilleries and places of interest. We would definitely recommend this property!"

"It was such a beautiful property. Quiet and peaceful country living. The cabin itself had everything anyone could want. Very clean, very modern and just an overall joy to stay in such a wonderful place. We would love to come back for another stay in the future."

"Great place to stay. It's conveniently located to several places to include a short drive (30 min or so) to Louisville and Churchill Downs. Property Managers were easily accessible and very kind. I would definitely recommend this place for a couple's retreat. Thank you."

"We enjoyed our 3-night stay! Kerith was very responsive to our questions. I appreciated the wide varity of coffee options. The bed was a little soft for me and a little short for my tall husband, and the sound on the TV is a little fuzzy, but it was absolutely fine for a few nights. Loved all the cooking pans and being out on the patio. We had both extremes of heat and cold during our visit, and the central heat/AC managed it well. Glad we stayed there!"

"I booked this place for my BIL’s 40th. Three nights. It was 6 adults, 3 couples. We could not ask for a more centrally located place. Easy drives to all the great distilleries. But out of the way and peaceful. The views of the lake driving in were amazing. We saw deer and a turkey. You can’t quite see the lake but it’s so pretty from the back deck. When we arrived one of the bathroom showers wouldn’t stop running. I messaged the property manager and she and the owner got back to me right away....
