“Good place”

“We have stayed here often and were concerned because it had kind of went downhill and were thinking about changing where we stay. But they have changed management and appears they are trying to make things better. They were putting in new mattresses when we were there - we got a room with a new one, very nice! Also the breakfast was very good and they stayed on top of keeping things cleaned up. And one thing that hasn't changed, staff was excellent as usual, very friendly and helpful. Also……

“The front desk asked us to call hotel.com to solve some system problems for them. It was your job not us, we were just guests! I stood at the front desk for almost 30 mins doing nothing Just because its problem in the hotel! ”

“This was a dirty hotel, the bathroom door didn't close, the shower was dirty, there was ants all over the bathroom floor, walls, and in the sink.”

“I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was extremely dirty and rundown—it honestly shouldn’t even be available for guests. There was visible mold on the towel racks, and the overall condition of the room was unacceptable. The pillows were paper-thin and uncomfortable, and nothing about the space felt clean or maintained. On top of that, the room looked nothing like the pictures advertised, which was very misleading. I……

“I really like the area Bolder's is located. I'm relocating to Waterloo for work & used this hotel while I searched for housing. The staff at check-in was friendly, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and property offers free parking. This location is just off the interstate & the noise of traffic/trucks going by was no issue. They offered coffee, breakfast & WiFi. Would stay here again. ”

“The property condition was okay. There was a humming noise in our room which was quite disturbing. I think it was the ice machine that was next to our room. The guest above us kept getting up throughout the night and kept stamping. This lasted into the early hours of the morning I’m not sure what was their problem. The heating system was noisy as well. Despite the noise issued expressed, the hotel was okay.”
