“First of all the property was extremely clean and well taken care of. So much so that I immediately tipped Sandie, one of the housekeeping staff on the fifth floor. My room was sparkling. You don’t know how important that is. I have stayed at a lot of hotels because I travel a lot. Fort Lauderdale, London, England, Raleigh, North Carolina, Toronto, Canada, Savannah, Georgia, Charleston, South Carolina, and some of these places just don’t take a well done room as necessary. “Front desk staff were fine, but the cleaner on my floor didn't seem physically well, so my room was half made, and the new tissue box was soaking wet, so that was the state of the tissues. On the third day they must have changed cleaners so the room was looked after properly. I didn't want to complain, since I didn't want to clearer to lose her job. I think she just needed a break.”

“Room was filthy, bedsheets were dirty, replaced them and woke up with two bites on my knee and wrist, was filth on the shower floor, under the sink had some sort of liquid dripping from it, bathroom sink wouldn’t drain. terrible place to go if u get ur flight cancelled or have a layover DO NOT STAY HERE”

“It has been 35 years since we last visited this property. My wife and I were excited to be able to visit it again and see all the wonderful upgrades!”

“The hotel itself is charming with a lovely courtyard and it is walking distance to several excellent restaurants. We were there on a weekend and they may have been short staffed but our room wasn’t serviced even though I was assured it would be. The main problem was that the room itself was tiny. There was only one chair and no desk or table. The TV was on the far wall and the only way to watch it would have been to stand in the doorway to the room.”
