"I thought the staff was extremely friendly and helped us with any requests. They even ordered us multiple cabs which was a big help. The lobby was quiet and clean. The room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels. We got back to the hotel late one night (4am) and they locked the hotel for safety reasons but opened it for us quickly. It made me happy to see they care about the visitors safety. Also they held our luggage for us (free of charge) when we checked out for a few hours. This let us...

"The Hotel Lombardía is a smaller property that is basic but clean, safe, well maintained and centrally located. They only have staff on site for 12 hours a day, but their staff is very professional and polite. They can help with any restaurant and tour arrangements. The location is great in the heart of historic Florence near the main cathedral and a major train station. There is shopping and there are many quality eating establishments nearby. "

"The place is in the heart of shopping heaven, its next to lego store and restaurants, close to everything, i feel safe walking even late at night. Its very quite even though its close to all the shops and restaurants, we had a good night sleep. Free breakfast was a nice touch, enough food to start your day. "

The hotel is in a good, but noisy neighborhood, very near the train station. Lots of restaurants to choose from. The only downside were groups of teenage kids staying..very noisy and rude. But, I understand from the new management, they won't be serving groups of students in future."
